Amazing speakers for its price. Very well-balanced sound. Do not expect that they will produce booming bass because they're obviously not designed for that, however the bass is present, and the sound is really excellent overall. Visual design is minimalistic and pleasant. Absolutely recommend them!

I bought the speakers 2 months ago, whenever I listens I'm spellbound by the sound this MR4 produces. Most noticeable is the clarity, mid-range although low-end most impressive but acceptable considering its budget. Never would have thought a studio monitor speakers at this price range and definitely worthwhile having them than a normal multimedia speakers on the table whether it's for computer or studio sound testing needs. Only lacking Bluetooth, if it comes free with it, would be a real smash treat from Edifier
I was looking for some monitor speakers in the sweet spot of budget friendly with good sound, and these Edifier MR4's have exceeded my expectations. I was already considering Edifier but when these came up on sale I had to pull the trigger. Very very pleased!

it’s looks good it’s easy to install it’s easy to use
Really impressed with the clarity/semi flat response curve!!! After a few hours of intentional break in at medium to moderate loud levels with orchestral and funk music across the range, they sound even better and the bass is surprisingly good for such small speakers!!!....but balanced, not hyped up like some others do! Assuming will be good for reference speakers for humble home studio projects!!! They get loud enough for small/medium room, but you do have to crank them up to around 7 to get there, but they stay clear and precise sounding!!!! Thumbs up! The only Con I have is that they pickup frequency interference in my setup whereas I haven't had that issue with other brands I've used over the years. Its not a huge fail, just slightly annoying when its quiet and the speakers are left at 2/3 up and you hear digital feedback too often... not constant, just occasionally annoying (might be my cell phone too close?). PS, love the white box color for higher end look, also the Music and Monitor modes! Thanks Edifier!!!

I bought these to replace some Creative Lab Pebble speakers whch just weren't up th the job of producing music well. These days I live in apartments with limited room, so I was looking for speakers with a small footprint yet good sound within a reasonable budget. After a fair amount of research I chose these and ordered them direct from Edifier. Packing and shipping was great, and I'm very happy with these new speakers. Easy to hook up, look great and both build quality and sound are great.
Set up was easy and sounds great! Can't wait to use these as I record music this year.

The Edifier MR4 speakers are a great wallet-friendly pick if you want clean, accurate sound for your desk. They sound balanced with clear mids and crisp highs, making them solid for music, casual listening, or light content creation. They also feel well-built for the price and have plenty of input options, so they’re easy to set up with different devices. The only real "downside" is the bass. It’s not very deep or punchy. But I knew this from other reviews, and for my needs, they perform really well. 10/10 would recommend.

I'm updating my initial review. There was nothing wrong with my new Mr 4s. I connected the speakers in low light and didn't have the left speaker connected properly. They are working just fine. My most sincere apologies to Edifier. 👍

The sound levels on movies is balanced. Quiet parts aren't too quiet, the loud action parts aren't super loud. Everything sounds great. You can hear the details in music, movies, etc. great speakers
