Excellent soundstage and clarity! Very good sound depth. The bass is tight and good for their size. Setup was easy and lastly damn good looking too! The only issue is correctly choosing which Bluetooth device, maybe a remote that shows the options?
Learned about the Edifier through an article in Consumer Reports entitled "The Right Smart Speaker for You". This article reminded me that if your primary interest is listening to streaming music, purchasing a top-of-the-line smart speaker from Amazon and Google is the wrong way to go. It is like bringing the water to horse rather than the horse to the water. Also in the process of reviewing the Edifier S1000MKII, I became fixated on this YouTube review (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRYibee9RXg) from a bookshelf perspective. I knew the reviewer was trying to send a message but I could not figure it out. But once your speakers arrived, I got it. In terms of a music immersion environment there are two scenarios. Speakers for your workstation or speakers for your room. If you have space at your workstation, and you desire an immersive music experience while you work at your station, the Edifier is a productivity enhancer!

Edifier S1000MKII - Great speakers. Connected to an SMSL PL100 Pro. Great sound. Unsure of how to register the warranty, but don’t foresee any issues.
Finally I bought a product were the company thinks about the customer, from the package to the instructions to install it, today’s companies make lots of noise about customer an only a handful do what hey say you are one of them. Exceptional quality of the product and shipment arrived when promised. Keep up the good work

These are great sounding speakers. I paired them with a WIIM Ultra pro in my living room. Although I have to say that they are bigger than I thought they would be. I am certainly glad that I decided on these speakers, because I love the clarity and sound.
Excellent quality speakers
Received them today. Bluetooth setup via phone and Chromebook was simple. Sound is rich. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
Speakers sound great BUT treble and bass adjustment knobs on back of speaker do nothing. So on some classical string pieces, the speakers are “squeaky.” A good looking device, remote works well. I wish there was an equalizer or an app with an equalizer.

These are really nice bookshelf speakers, well made, attractive, and excellent sound quality.
Powered speakers, especially those with Bluetooth were chosen for me to help save a little money and to get the most bang for my buck. They sound amazingly rich with my turntable and when playing music from my phone.
The sounds quality is terrific - which is highest priority for me. Also, bluetooth connection to PC is flawless and easy to establish. What I wish were different is that the 2 speakers connected wirelessly rather than via a cable. As soon as that option is available, I will purchase it.
I couldn’t be happier with my new Edifier S1000mkII speakers! My first pair arrived damaged in shipping. Customer service was on it and issued me an RMA to return them. I received my replacement speakers in just days. The speakers are top notch and sound spectacular! I use the analog inputs for my turntable and currently have the optical input fed from my PlayStation. Vinyl sounds warm and organic, my video games feel fully immersive, and Music played via Bluetooth features crisp clear highs, clean vocals, and deep bass. They are the best speaker for the price point in my opinion.

The speakers are great, but the box that the speakers came in was absolutely destroyed! Fortunately the speakers were intact but we were incredibly surprised by the amount of damage that had been done to the box.
Appear to be very well built, solid, and attractive. They sound very good too. I also own the smaller 1280 speakers and am very impressed with the way they improved in sound as they broke in with use. The bass improved a lot, as did the high frequency response. I expect that the performance of the s1000 mk2 will likewise lmprove. Although right out of the box they are already very good. They are weighty speakers and were well packaged. However they were mistreated in shipping ,and if they had been not as packed so well, they would not have survived. Even triple boxed, the styrofoam surrounding the speakers top and bottom was broken in several places. The speakers were undamaged. I am using these primarily as tv sound, and for music streamed via blutooth with my tablet. So far so good. I expect that they will perform well for a long time. They were easy to install, and all necessary cables being included is a plus. They represent good value, especially at the cost. I can advise people to try them, i think they will be pleased.
I'm a professional musician that records wrights and tours music... I was looking for something to listen back to my finished mixes as well as all my other music from every band out there that I love... These speakers are incredible the clarity the separation and the overall sound quality is absolutely amazing...!! I added a 12-in subwoofer to it .. Edifier makes an 8-in subwoofer that also is fantastic...!!! I highly recommend these speakers.. I also like the fact that I could get a 30-ft cord (option)as I like my speakers far apart from each other... You won't regret picking these speakers up... The company was very easy to deal with as well.. I will be buying more from them in the future...
