It took a while to get in properly connected to my STR-DH590 but once connected, and with 2.1 and front speaker size set properly, it sounds like I was expecting - more 3-dimensional but not boomy and overwhelming for a room that's about 12'x14'. My only complaint was with the Edifier-provided RCA cables. They seemed too loose in the T5s ports, slipped in and out too easily, so I went with my old tried and true beefier Y-cable connected to sub-out on STR-DH590 and to L/R inputs on the sub. Then things came alive. ;)
